Purple was always my favorite color as a kid. What color Popsicle did I want? Purple. What color bike did I want? Purple. What color marker did I want? Purple. I even had a stuffed animal that smelled purple. (Okay, it was grape, but you catch my drift.) Today's monochromatic look is a throwback to 5-year-old me who would have loved an all-purple outfit and just looking at it makes me smell purple again.
