#BlackWomenDidThat Celebrates Black Women's Groundbreaking Achievements in History
Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for president in Philadelphia on Thursday. While her achievement is inarguably historic, questions remain about what the breakthrough will mean for Black women.
Fortunately, Black women have long been accomplishing remarkable feats and need not rely on anyone else to show us what is possible.
To demonstrate this fact, the #BlackWomenDidThat hashtag recognizes the myriad ways Black women have shattered glass ceilings. Get into the hashtag for an important reminder that Black Girl Magic ain't nothing new and won't be stopped.
