Simone Biles has officially completed her first Olympic Games. She ended her competition in Rio with a gold medal on floor exercise.

Biles earned a score of 15.966 (6.900 difficulty, 9.066 execution, 0.0 penalties). Her win was not unexpected. Her was the highest score on this event during the individual all-around competition. She only needed to beat herself, and she did that.

Expectations couldn't have been higher for the Spring, Texas-native. 19-year-old Biles is the reigning three-time world champion. She'll come away from these Olympics with 4 gold medals and one bronze.



Biles also secured gold in the team all-around and individual all-around finals and on vault. After a near fall on the balance beam, her performance scored her a bronze medal. No U.S. woman has ever won five medals in one Olympics or four gold medals in her career.

Her teammate Aly Raisman won silver.

Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman are tied for the second-most gold medals for a U.S. gymnast.

It's safe to say that Biles is the greatest gymnast in the world, and now she has the hardware to prove it.
